Killer Bee Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Kimonos also offers customers the ability to purchase our durable and reinforced gi pants as a single purchase. Our RipStop pants are constructed with long term durability in mind.
Our Ripstop fabrics are woven out of cotton, whilst using a special reinforcing technique that makes them very resistant against tearing and ripping. During weaving (thick) reinforcement threads are interwoven at regular intervals in a crosshatch pattern in the fabric. The intervals at which reinforcement threads are interwoven are typically 5 to 8 millimeters (0.2 to 0.3 in) apart. Thin or lightweight ripstop fabrics get a 3 dimensional structure due to the thicker threads being interwoven in thinner cloth.
Our RipStop gi pants feature:
Built from 10 Oz weight cotton fabric.
Each gi pant has 4 belt loops, each end sewn with three runs of sewing on each end for added durability.
Gi pant cuffs are sewn with extra runs of sewing along the horizontal axis for added durability. Additionally reinforcements have been placed along the seam on the back of the pants.
All gi pants are reinforced at the stress areas.
Each pair of pants has an extra layer of fabric at the knee and below for added durability.
Gi pants come in White, Blue, and Black.
All gi pants have been put through the "pre-shrunk" process. However they still may shrink 1 - 2 inches upon the first wash and dry cycle.
Bought them because they are 100% cotton...and wanted to “vintage” dye them to a natural cotton color. They look great with my natural cotton gi top. I will probably get me another pair eventually. Excellent product! Al R. Lemus

I have several ripstop pants and this one is just as good, if not better, than the others. The length fits me just right. I'm certain the quality of the fabric and stitching should last me through many years of rolling. Thomas

These have everything that I would select in a custom gi pant: Tough but light, pearl weave reinforced crotch and a solid drawstring that stays tied. I also like that these pants have no logo; I can substitute them when another gi's pants fail.Kyle Hopf - San Diego Brazilian Jiu Jitsu (San Marcos, CA)

I'm 6'0, 200lbs, 38 inch waist. I bought a size A3, and they fit great. The waist felt a little big to start, but after a wash and dry cycle feels fine, especially with all the contortions you put them through while rolling. The length falls to about two inches above my ankles.
The stretchy rope KB uses as a pants tie works really well. They hold a knot much better than the flat cotton ties in my other gi pants.
Fabric is comfortable, soft, sturdy, and breathes well.
Great product, and I've already ordered another pair.Keith Stratton

The hybrid weave fabric is light, soft, and strong! Rip stop pants are plenty tough. Great for S. Cal heat in the dojo. Size A2 is slightly short/snug for 5'8" 186 lbs. Only negative, they did not have my size belt in stock.Paul

So far they're great!
I bought these to replace the twill pants that came with my name-brand gi because they were way too short. I'm 6'2", 190lbs with a size 33 inseam and I ordered the A4 for extra length. After a couple of hot was/dry cycles the fit was spot on! Although the fabric is listed as the same weight as my twill pants, the KB's feel lighter and are tapered nicely at the ankles. The stretchy rope is more comfortable but has a tendency to allow the pants to slip down my hips when worn over spats/compression pants. Also, there was no Killer Bee tag or logo. I don't mind the missing logo but if I owned the company, I'd definitely want to know that the one piece of advertising that I thoughtfully intended to be placed on my product was missing. I'm happy with the pants and recommend them highly. I will likely order my next complete gi from this company. For now I'm going to order one of the KB belts.Bill W.
